Delhi Government Initiates Disciplinary Proceedings Against IAS Officer Probing Vigilance Matters

New Delhi: The Delhi government has stated that it will initiate disciplinary proceedings against IAS officer YVVJ Rajasekhar due to multiple complaints lodged against him. Rajasekhar is currently investigating vigilance matters pertaining to the excise policy and the renovation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bungalow.
Services Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has submitted a formal request to the Chief Minister, urging for the swift transfer of YVVJ Rajasekhar, according to an official statement.
The officer has not yet responded to this development, and there has been no immediate reaction from him.

In a comprehensive report presented to the Chief Minister, the minister highlighted that IAS officer YVVJ Rajasekhar has a long history of coming under scrutiny from investigative bodies such as the CBI, Central Vigilance Commission, and the vigilance department. These investigations involve multiple allegations of corruption and unauthorized possession of sensitive vigilance files, allegedly driven by ulterior motives.

Expressing grave concerns, the minister emphasized the negative impact of Rajasekhar’s presence in the Vigilance Department and urged for his immediate transfer or removal. The government statement strongly criticized Rajasekhar for consistently disseminating false, frivolous, and fabricated information for personal gain.
